Meet Anna Miller, who's passion was to become a ballerina.

Anna Miller began her ballet training in Southern California under Marina Fliagina.  Miller received four consecutive merit-based National Training Scholarships from American Ballet Theatre, placed as a Youth America Grand Prix NYC Finalist in 2012, and was accepted into the Perm State Choreographic College in Russia. Miller was faced with an injury during the 2015 company audition season, and confronted a need to expand her professional horizons beyond ballet. At just eighteen years old, she moved to New York City. New York enabled Miller necessary freedoms to grow and develop as an individual outside of the ballet. Miller is now a Pre-Medical student at Columbia University’s School of General Studies. She plans on receiving a Doctorate degree in Biological Sciences, as well as a Medical Degree. Miller is currently a National Science Foundation S-STEM Scholar, and recently concluded participating in the Borough of Manhattan Community College’s Collaborative Program with Goldman Sachs.
